Appleseed Entertainment is an independent film production company specializing in documentary films. We are presently preparing three projects on the ongoing Ukraine-Russia war. Your donation will assist the development, production and distribution of these films.
Appleseed’s Ben Moses directing the President of Indonesia in a film about democracy around the world.
Filmmaking is our contribution to making the world a better place. By “better,” we mean more peaceful, more compassionate and healthier for people and the environment.

One project will link young Ukrainians who are fighting the war with the American families they lived with during the “FLEX” program, in which Americans have hosted Ukrainian high school students for one year. This US program just celebrated 30 years of introducing foreign students to America.
A second project features major historians and experts from universities and governments in Ukraine, Europe and the US telling the history of the Ukraine-Russia relationship from historical times until the present. It will offer the viewer a true understanding of why the present Russian invasion took place.
The third project is a feature documentary following the lives of three young Ukrainian women who have set aside their personal lives to join the battle to save their country. One of the women featured is the 2022 Nobel Peace Laureate Oleksandra Matviichuk.
Your contribution will help these films be made quickly and be seen by people around the world.
