Join DAD to welcome special guest speaker Meet Our Moment’s Jay Jones, an attorney, Norfolk native and former member of the VA House Delegates (2017-2020).
After his historic run for Attorney General in 2021, Jay resigned from the House of Delegates and founded Meet Our Moment, an organization devoted to helping train and financially support minority candidates across the Commonwealth.
He will discuss this year's critical federal races, taking back the democratic trifecta in 2025 and laying the groundwork for the next generation of political leaders in the Commonwealth.
While many Democratic leaders have encouraged Jay to run again for AG in 2025, his remarks will focus on this year's critical challenge of re-electing President Joe Biden and Senator Tim Kaine and the role Meet our Moment will play in achieving future Democratic priorities..
