June Meeting - Megan Tennimon, School Board Candidate and Holly Bullard, Florida Policy Institute

Join us on Tuesday, June 16 for our June Senior Caucus meeting at the Mellow Mushroom at 11:30.

 Meet Megan Tennimon, candidate for the Sarasota County School Board District 4 seat in the August election. Megan is running to serve as a positive, thoughtful advocate for students, parents, and teachers. Holly Bullard, the Chief Strategy and Development Officer of the Florida Policy Institute, is also joining us to give a recap of the FL Legislative session and how the new laws will impact our public school system. Florida Policy Institute (FPI) is an independent, non-partisan organization dedicated to advancing policies that improve the life of Floridians. They provide in-depth analysis of the Florida legislative session and budget. 

Lunch is a buffet including 2 types of salads, a variety of pizzas, dessert, and a soft drink for $22 per person. 

The price of your lunch includes tax & tip. Adult beverages are available at the bar, self pay. Registration is limited to the first 65 attendees.

The Mellow Mushroom Restaurant is located at 6727 S Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, FL 34231. All are welcome to attend our meetings and events.
