Louisville has long neglected the people of district 5 in favor of a handful of wealthy developers. Shawnee, Portland, Russell, and Chickasaw have all been sold out by our leaders to help their corporate backers. We deserve a city that works for us, the working class, not just millionaire donors.

Aprile Hearn has been fighting to build that city. A long time community organizer, she has battled against homelessness, gun violence, and food insecurity and stood up for social justice. Aprile knows what obstacles working people are up against, just as well as she knows how important it is to change Louisville for working people's interests.
