As a proud alumnus of Coachella Valley Unified School District, I have seen first hand how stronger schools create stronger communities. With partnerships among teachers, parents, and community members at the center, I am committed to enhancing student achievement, investing in professional development for teachers, securing new funding for vital programs, and promoting collaborative decision-making with stakeholders.
While at Lift to Rise I led and supported critical community interventions, most notably, the United Lift Rental Assistance program which helped hundreds of families impacted financially during the COVID-19 pandemic stay housed. My experience there showed me the power of coming together to support our community in times of need.
