We Did It! We Got Disney To Stop Funding Elon Musk & Hate Speech!
Thanks to thousands of Color Of Change members who took action, we got Disney to suspend all Twitter ads until the platform protects Black and marginalized communities from hate speech and misinformation!
But our work is not done. Musk has reinstated the accounts of bad actors, including former President Donald Trump and neo-Nazi and longtime Klan leader Andrew Anglin. Musk has allowed white nationalists such as Kenosha, Wisconsin, shooter Kyle Rittenhouse to purchase a verified blue check and Musk has even tweeted Nazi memes and promoted antisemitism on his personal account.
The road to #ASaferTwitter will be a long one, but our fight is crucial if we want to protect our communities from real-world harm. Chip in so Color Of Change can continue to fight back against Twitter and hold its advertisers accountable for doing the same!
