Ashwin is running for State Senate in District 48, which includes parts of Johns Creek, Alpharetta, Suwanee, Sugar Hill, Cumming, and Buford. This race is the most competitive down-ballot race in GA, and he's running against an incumbent who faces a criminal indictment for trying to overturn the 2020 election results.
Ashwin has a B.S. in Computer Science at Stanford and a J.D. from Georgetown. In 2020, Ashwin worked in the federal government on cybersecurity to protect our elections. He will fight for our community by passing common sense gun safety legislation, ensuring access to reproductive healthcare, and protecting our right to vote.
