A lot is happening in our country. While many national Democratic politicians speak and act, we must focus on local efforts. Sometimes, it feels like here in Oconee County, we can't influence national elections, but our impact begins at home.
The 2025 municipal elections last November saw several local progressive leaders elected or re-elected. This November, we face midterm elections with local candidates running for County Council, School Board, and other positions, along with State and National elections.
The Oconee County Democratic Party works to get candidates on the ballot and engages with the community to support food pantries and blessing boxes to help neighbors.

We use ACT BLUE for donations via credit cards, Venmo, PayPal, etc. (Click here to donate). Checks can be mailed to P.O. Box 1293, Walhalla, SC 29691, or dropped at the office.
Help us put Democrats on local ballots, register voters, and support get-out-the-vote efforts through phone banking and canvassing. We need everyone's help.
