DWWC Monthly Meeting

Please join the Democratic Women of Wake County on Thursday, August 30th for our monthly meeting, taking place at the NCSU University Club.

For August, we are focusing on the judiciary and law enforcement elections on the ballot this year. We have invited all candidates for those areas endorsed by the Wake County Democratic Party to join us and speak about their campaigns. Some have confirmed, and we know others will join us as their schedule permits.

*Craig Croom, Judge District 10B Seat 1

*Margaret Phillips Eagles, Judge District 10D Seat 1

*Walter Rand, Judge District 10D Seat 2

*Ms. Sam Hamadani, Judge District 10E Seat 1

*Louis Meyer, Judge District 10E Seat 2

*Lorrin Freeman, District Attorney

*Blair Williams, Wake County Clerk of Superior Court

*Gerald Baker, Wake County Sheriff

We will also have an action activity centered around two of the six NC Constitutional amendments on the ballot this fall.

The cost for lunch is $20.00, which covers the cost of the food and use of the facility. (You may attend and not eat, but we ask that you check in at the lobby desk and obtain a name tag.)

All non-members are asked to complete a guest registration sheet at the lobby desk.

Please REGISTER in advance for the lunch so that we can provide an accurate headcount for the caterer. In order to give the caterer enough time to prepare, all lunch orders must be ordered by Monday August 27, 2018 at 12:00pm. If this is after that time, please feel free to join us by signing in at the lobby desk. Lunch will not be available if you sign up after the noon deadline.
