We Did it!
We just received amazing news — the Austin City Council just voted to put the Austin Freedom Act on the ballot!
This was the last hurdle — there will not be a vote on May 7, 2022 to adopt a new city law that will (1) stop enforcement of low-level marijuana offenses and (2) end police use of dangerous "no knock" warrants.
We gathered over 33,000 signatures from Austin residents, and nearly 23,000 were verified as registered voters.
This work requires an incredible amount of attention to detail, but we've proved we can handle it.
Now we are going to several more cities — and we need your help! Please donate today so we can extend these essential programs to additional cities across Texas this year!
