URGENT: Young Arizonans are organizing to win back their fundamental reproductive freedoms and protect their futures. Will you donate to fuel their fight?
Arizona’s Supreme Court just made abortion almost completely illegal using a law from 1864. This Civil War-era law was enacted 50 years before Arizona was even officially recognized as a U.S. State. Now, with the Arizona Supreme Court’s ruling, we are less than two weeks away from one of the most cruel and dangerous abortion laws in the nation going into effect.
This law will have life-threatening consequences for those with medical emergencies, survivors of rape and sexual violence, and the millions of other young people being denied their reproductive rights. But young Arizonans are ready to fight back.
We are taking our fight to the streets, to the halls of legislatures, and to the our campuses to demand access to abortion. We demand the permanent, comprehensive protection of the Equal Rights Amendment so our reproductive freedoms are never in limbo again. But we need your support.
Chip in what you can today to help us pay for things like art supplies, transportation to the state capitol, water for protestors, and educational materials for our peers.
This mobilization is a part of the May 2nd National Strike for Abortion Rights (strike4abortionrights.com). This strike is only possible with the support of generous donors. Thank you for standing with the next generation of students and leaders as we fight for our futures. Reach out to julia@youngfeministparty.org with any inquiries.
