Margret and I are co-hosting an event next week for Sheldon Whitehouse and we thought you might like to meet him. He's a pretty remarkable, intelligent but down to earth guy who has been a real progressive champion in the Senate. Of all the people we have supported over the years we are most proud of the work he has done once in office, including on the US Attorney firings in the prior admin, opposing torture and supporting an inquiry into possible war crimes, supporting marriage equality, health care reform, the environment, and generally being the sort of liberal voice that we need in the Senate.
