Angie Bado

Let's Get Angie to Austin...

For decades, Angie has been a fierce advocate and a champion for the public education system. Angie has fought tooth and nail on Bond Committees, PTO’s, and School Board Committees, to ensure not only our students have the resources they need but secured resources for our educators as well.

As an entrepreneur and small business owner, Angie understands the struggles and the hardships of owning and maintaining a local business. In 2005, Angie founded a local media organization, McKinney News, which later became Town Square Buzz. Using her passion for education, politics, and community, she sought to create a non-partisan platform to inform our community rather than divide.

As a community advocate, Angie currently serves on the board of a Nonprofit but has also been a leader in the community as the President of the McKinney Convention Center Board of Directors, President of the Women’s Alliance of McKinney, Member of the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and a member of the Main street McKinney Board.

Angie has fought for us her entire life and she doesn't plan on stopping now. Help support Angie and get her to Austin to bring real solutions instead of partisan division.
