5th Annual Bagniewski Fish Fry!
President Barack Obama said winning Iowa meant going to every county fair and fish fry across the state. While we can't host our own fair, we're thrilled to bring back an old fashioned fish fry for its fifth year right here in Northwest Des Moines.
Join us in our yard (4019 Ovid Avenue in Des Moines) on Sunday, October 11, 2026 from 4:00 PM- 7:00 PM.
Tickets are only $40. We'll be frying fresh fish along with grilling cheeseburgers, hot dogs, brats, and veggie burgers. We'll also have sides and a refreshments stand with pop, beer, and, of course, a steady stream of brandy Old Fashioneds.
All proceeds will go toward helping turn out the vote in House District 35 and helping House Democrats in the most competitive districts statewide.
