Dr. Bains is a family and addiction doctor, daughter of immigrants, and a relentless advocate for underserved communities. She is also the Central Valley's Chief Medical Officer for the California Medical Assistance team, which organizes emergency health services. Raised in Delano, Dr. Bains has witnessed firsthand the challenges her neighbors face getting accessible healthcare.
