Contribution rules
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
- I am at least eighteen years old.
- I am not a federal contractor.
- I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation and name of employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 in an election cycle.
Contributions or gifts to Baldacci Victory Fund are not tax deductible.
Paid for by Baldacci Victory Fund, a joint fundraising committee authorized by Joe Baldacci for Congress and HMP.
Contributions to Baldacci Victory Fund will be allocated as follows:
- 90% of contributions will be allocated to HMP (Contribution account)
- 10% of contributions will be allocated to Joe Baldacci for Congress
Individuals and multi-candidate committees (PACs) may contribute up to $5,000 per calendar year to HMP’s Contribution Account. Individuals may contribute up to $7,000 ($3,500 designated for the primary election/$3,500 designated for the general election) and PACs may contribute up to $10,000 ($5,000 designated for the primary election/$5,000 designated for the general election) to Joe Baldacci for Congress. Corporations, labor organizations, and other federally prohibited sources may not contribute to Baldacci Victory Fund.
Any contributor may designate his or her contribution for a particular participant by contacting ltalleyblack@premier-compliance.com. The allocation formula above may change if any contributor makes a contribution that, when allocated, would exceed the amount that the contributor may lawfully give to any participant.
