Jordyn Balderas was just 16 years old when he became his mother's caregiver.

Jordyn's mom is a nurse who raised six kids on her own. When she was diagnosed with a rare disease and denied the disability benefits she earned, the family lost everything. Jordyn stepped up. He worked full time as a teenager, held his family together, and fought a system that was supposed to help them.

Now, he is running for the Florida House because the people making decisions about housing and healthcare have never gone without either. His opponent owns more than 60 rental properties- properties no working family could afford.

At just 21 years old, Jordyn has never known a soft life, and is running to give the people of District 34, from Florida Ridge to Barefoot Bay, a real fighter for the issues that matter in Tallahassee.
