Help Power MoveOn's Banned Bookmobile Cross-Country Tour!
Without further ado, here are the first 10 books we are adding to the Banned Bookmobile! All of these books are banned by DeSantis in Florida, and five were among the top 10 most banned books nationwide in 2022:

- "All Boys Aren't Blue: A Memoir-Manifesto" - George M. Johnson
- "And Tango Makes Three" - Justin Richardson and Peter Parnell
- "The Bluest Eye" - Toni Morrison
- "Gender Queer: A Memoir" - Maia Kobabe
- "The Hill We Climb" - Amanda Gorman
- "I Am Jazz" - Jessica Herthel and Jazz Jennings
- "Looking for Alaska" - John Green
- "Maus" - Art Spiegelman
- "Out of Darkness" - Ashley Hope Pérez
"Gender Queer: A Memoir," a graphic novel about nonbinary author Maia Kobabe's journey toward self-discovery, was the most banned book across the United States in 2022 and has received the most challenges of any book in 2023 as well.
Contribution rules
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
- I am at least eighteen years old.
- I am not a federal contractor.
- I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
You may make contributions of up to $5,000 per calendar year to MoveOn.org Political Action's Contribution Account. Individual contributions will be allocated as follows: $5,000 per calendar year to a bank account that operates as a Federal PAC, and the remainder to the Non-Contribution Account of the PAC.
By contributing on this page, I certify that:
(1) my funds may be used for Campaign Media Spending in Arizona, as defined by the 2022 Voters’ Right to Know Act;
(2) information about my contribution may be reported under Arizona campaign finance law to a state or local government authority for disclosure to the public;
