Statement from Mayor Barbara Lee

Serving as your Mayor is the honor of my lifetime. Every day, I work to ensure Oakland is leading the charge on our most pressing issues, including housing, public safety, economic opportunity, and equity.

To do this well, I need resources that allow me to engage our community and keep residents informed along the way. That’s why I’m launching Mayor Barbara Lee's Oakland Community Engagement Officeholder Account 2025, a fund dedicated exclusively to supporting the duties of this office, including constituent services, community events, and neighborhood outreach.

We’ve already begun delivering for Oakland, passing a budget that protects vital city services, investing in comprehensive public safety efforts, and creating jobs and opportunities for our youth.

To keep our momentum going, we need to raise $100,000 by December 15. Every dollar helps ensure we can continue responding to our community’s needs and keep Oaklanders informed every step of the way.

Can I count on you to be one of the founding supporters?
