I've dedicated my career to public service, currently serving as a non-profit leader and activist, fighting to advance opportunities for all, especially those without a voice in the political process.

During my tenure on the school board, I led efforts to fund pre-K classrooms, protect undocumented immigrants on school property, and promote diversity in local politics. I'm a Des Moines native and father of two. I'm committed to making Des Moines the best place in the country to raise a child, focusing on families, hope, and resources.
