Katie Baudouin is running for reelection to the Orleans Parish School Board, District 5.

Katie was first elected in 2020 and currently serves as Board President. She previously chaired the Policy and Facilities committees.

Throughout her first term, Katie has brought her experience serving in state and local government to the school board. Under her leadership, the board passed common sense policies to bring greater operational efficiency to New Orleans Public Schools. As Facilities Committee Chair she brought to the board a plan for disposition through sale or lease of surplus school property which will reduce maintenance and insurance costs for vacant properties.

Katie is committed to prioritizing the same responsible public resource management in her second term.
