Butler County Auditor Roger Reynolds (Republican) stands accused of using his office to benefit himself and his family. In all, he faces SIX charges of corruption, including a third-degree felony for BRIBERY.
And now his trial has been moved from August to after the election.
This isn’t the first Butler County Republican Auditor to face criminal charges. You might remember Kay Rogers was convicted of bank and mail fraud and tax evasion in 2008 and served prison time.
Even Republican County Commissioner Cindy Carpenter acknowledges that “we’ve got a history of [Republican] candidates frankly being convicted and going to prison”.
