Building a Stronger, More Connected Battle Creek—Together!

The Battle Creek Coalition for Truth, Racial Healing and Transformation (BCTRHT) is entering a new phase of community-rooted leadership. Our work is grounded in the belief that transformation begins when people are connected and rooted in love, care, and abundance. We bring people together, uplift community voices, and help shift the systems that shape daily life in Battle Creek. Your support strengthens our ability to do this work with consistency, integrity, and independence.

Our Vision

A community where all belong, thrive, and are free.

Our Mission

We create spaces for people and organizations to share stories, connect, and work together toward shared goals that strengthen Battle Creek’s ecosystem for the long term.

Our Long-Term Commitment

Our 100-year vision is to help build an ecosystem where fairness, belonging, and wellbeing are actively practiced across the community. We do not duplicate what others already do. Instead, we help create alignment, capacity, and shared purpose in the priority areas that residents themselves have identified:

  • Attainable Housing
  • Health and Wellbeing
  • Economic Prosperity
  • Welcoming and Inclusive Spaces

Your support helps ensure that this long-term vision remains people-powered and rooted in truth, relationship, and community leadership.

Why Your Gift Matters

We are working toward a $75,000 community giving goal this year so we can stay responsive to community needs while deepening our core work.

Your support helps us:

  • Amplify stories and voices of those most impacted by inequities.
  • Build authentic relationships rooted in trust, compassion, and belonging.
  • Bridge people and systems to shift how decisions are made and who is included.
  • Spark change and coordinate action toward justice and equitable systems.
  • Shift narratives by lifting truths, honoring history, and sharing stories of resilience and possibility.

More Than a Donation — A Shared Commitment

When you give to BCTRHT, you are investing in:

  • community-rooted solutions
  • long-term ecosystem strengthening
  • spaces for healing, collaboration, and truth
  • a Battle Creek where people feel safe, valued, and connected

Every contribution—whether $10 or $100—helps sustain a movement grounded in justice, belonging, and collective liberation.
