Louisiana's Seditious Senator

We have to defeat Kennedy in 2022, but we can't do it alone. Please chip in to help Democrats beat Kennedy. 

 

Louisiana Senator John Kennedy just joined a shameful Republican filibuster to block an outside, bipartisan commission to investigate the worst attack on American democracy since the Civil War, the January 6th insurrection.

 

GOP Senator Lisa Murkowski slammed McConnell, Kennedy, and their Republican colleagues saying that this is "a decision for the short-term political gain at the expense of understanding and acknowledging what was in front of us on January 6."

 

Kennedy didn't just block the commission, he also helped incite the insurrection. Kennedy was one of a handful of U.S. Senators who tried to overthrow the 2020 election. Kennedy disgraced his country by sustaining his objection even after a violent mob of insurrectionists stormed the Capitol, resulting in the death of five people, including a Capitol Hill police officer. 

 

Senator Kennedy consistently puts HIS politics before OUR country and the people of Louisiana. He is a shameless career politician who threw our democracy under the bus January 6th, and he did it again today by joining this appalling filibuster to block a bipartisan commission to investigate January 6th.
