Since 2008 I have had the pleasure of working with Catalyst Project in various roles-- as a training participant, program leader, staff member, volunteer, and donor. Catalyst has supported thousands of white activists and organizers across the country to deepen their anti-racist analysis and practice, and make meaningful contributions to multiracial social justice movements.
A key part of their work is focused on supporting organizations in poor and working class white communities to strengthen their racial justice practices as they work on issues ranging from access to healthcare, to resisting mountaintop removal, to building economic justice in rural communities.
From April 20-23rd, Catalyst Project and the HighlanderCenter will bring together organizations that are building anti-racist power in poor and working class white communities to share skills, analysis, stories, and strategies for building anti-racism in white working class and poor communities, towards building multiracial movements for liberation.
From April 20-23, 40 leaders organizing with poor and working class white communities across the U.S. will gather at the historic Highlander Center to share skills, strategy, and analysis about building racial justice. Your donation will help make it happen.
