Friends, I first met Joanna Grossman on a night many of us will never forget: the night Donald Trump was elected in 2016. Yes, really. In addition to making a dear friend that night, our political partnership was born.
Since then, I’ve seen Joanna’s commitment to our community grow exponentially. Joanna was always passionate about advocacy, but she always insisted she wasn’t going to run herself. In 2020, she went to work for Indivisible, where she helped thousands of candidates and helped create the national infrastructure that took this country back from Trump that year. Locally, she ran both of my contested campaigns for City Council, providing the strategic leadership we needed to win.
She has fought—and won—time and again for our local businesses, through her work at Phoenix Books, and our community’s schools, including the bond campaign for the new BHS.
Now, Joanna has realized it’s time for her to step up to the plate. She’s running for the Vermont State Senate in my district (Chittenden Southeast), and I am honored to be serving as her Campaign Treasurer.
Joanna is the battle-tested organizer we need in the Chittenden Southeast District. Please join me in supporting her, with some pizza, at Queen City Brewery!
