Fund the Berks County Resistance
Berks County, PA is now at ground zero with ICE’s recent purchase of the Upper Bern Township warehouse that is intended to detain 1500 people in appalling conditions. Many have rallied to condemn this horrific development. Democrats throughout Berks County have risen to the challenge of mobilizing our community to stand firm against this authoritarian regime. We are working tirelessly to elect Democrats in local offices to ensure we have elected officials using the full force of their position to build the resistance at all levels.
We are working with our allies to be visible, protesting on the streets to stand firmly on the side of humanity and the rule of democracy.
We are proud to organize and facilitate these crucial resistance activities along with working to ensure we have a seat at the table, but it costs time and money.
