BERN-arita in Alameda!

Goal thermometer

MONEY TALKS. Bernie knows that, and has still rejected large corporate donations and Super-Pacs, because they are central to a corrupt election process. BUT we are closing in on ONE MILLION donations, averaging roughly $30. Incredibly, we’ve outdone Obama at this stage of the 2008 campaign, fighting back against the outrageous advantage the Citizens United decision has give to those politicians who are willing to sell out to the undisclosed financial behemoths of a developing American oligarchy. We’re hosting a fund-raiser for Bernie and progressive candidates in closely contested House and Senate races, listed on this ActBlue website for your selection and credit card donation.

For a mere $25, you’ll receive Alameda’s second best margarita, and for a corporate-busting $50, you can write home to Mama about the first best.

Drop by in the afternoon for live musical entertainment, heart-felt conversation, and the satisfaction of contributing to something that will make a difference - something REAL.

Hosted by: David Teeters & Marty Simonds, Dan Wood & Lucy Gigli, Tim & Amy Rumberger, Bara Waters & Robert Cassard

Feel free to donate more than the amount of margaritas you will be drinking!
