Hey There,
Glad you stopped by.
I am Dr. LaDena Bolton, Super District 7 Commissioner and the 2026 Deputy Presiding Officer of the DeKalb County Board of Commissioners. As a wife of a DeKalb Educator, mother of 3 DeKalb students, Scientist and Community Organizer, I accepted the challenge to serve because it’s our time to lead unapologetically.
In 2024, we demanded clean communities and as Commissioner, I ran a campaign that cleared 5 tons of trash and galvanized 1000 volunteers across the county. We fought for safer neighborhoods and as Chair of the Public Safety committee, I supported an $18.9 million investment in our police department. And as a group of concerned citizens, we advocated for an overall higher quality of life. So, as Deputy Presiding Officer, I went to Washington D.C. with my peers to ask congress for more resources to improve outcomes in our communities.
After serving only one year as Commissioner, we are further along on that upward trajectory toward facilitating communities of limitless possibilities.
Today, I am asking you to invest in Consistency, Transparency and Proven Results. Will you support 4 more years of my experienced leadership? We urge you to give your best contribution and encourage 5 friends to give their best.
Thank you for caring enough to pay it forward.
Very Respectfully
