This moment requires us to be bold and we are hoping to raise enough money to get our general election work the energizing push we need to win!
Biden has officially dropped out as the presidential nominee for the Democratic Party. The hot takes are flying, and everyone is bringing a range of emotions into this moment– fear, relief, dread, overwhelm, excitement.
But, we have to keep our eyes on the prize: keeping the MAGA movement from gaining more power in the federal government. We are clear that advancing anything our movements for change care about– climate, housing, racial justice, worker’s rights, abortion protection and more– will be nearly impossible under an authoritarian government.
We also know that with Kamala Harris as the presumptive nominee, the far right will use race and gender ruthlessly in their strategy to win over white voters. As white people, it’s on us to take up the responsibility of moving other white people away from the racism of the MAGA movement.
