The BirdDogs (BirdDog Democracy Action Team) are excited to help raise funds to re-elect Heather Gustafson to the Minnesota Senate in 2026! We think the world of Heather and would very much like YOU to help us help her by making your 2025 Political Contribution Refund (PCR) program donation to Heather’s campaign (because you probably haven’t made your 2025 refundable PCR donation yet, right?) You have to donate by December 31st to use this year’s refundable donation and time’s a wasting!

 

Remember, each year, every MN voter can make a refundable donation to a state candidate (up to $75 per individual/$150 per couple) through the PCR program. First, you make the donation through this BirdDog ActBlue link (Thank you!).  Heather’s campaign will mail you a receipt AND the PCR application, which takes 2 minutes to fill out. You send those forms in and then you get a refund check or a direct deposit into your bank account. Please don’t let those 2025 Democracy Dollars go to waste!! 

 

BirdDogs knocked over 5000 doors for Heather in 2022 to help get her elected and she has done awesome work in the Minnesota Senate.  We are currently doing an intensive mid-winter door knocking stint in northern suburbs to gather information for gun safety legislation (photos below show us out on recent days at -10 degrees). We’ll knock over 2000 doors between now and February 8th. We care a lot about gun violence prevention and so does Heather. She played a critical role in passing two laws in 2023 (to extend background checks and enable Extreme Risk Protection Orders). She also helped us plan our current gun safety legislation canvassing project. She is the chief author of a bill for safe storage of firearms and she will be working hard in 2026 to move legislation forward for gun violence prevention.

 

Please warm our hearts and speed our BirdDog feet on the snowy ground and help us support Sen. Heather Gustafson’s re-election in 2026.
