Donate directly to the legal defense of Democratic state officials who are being sued by the Trump administration in an attempt to force them to turn over sensitive voter data

The Trump administration is demanding that states hand over sensitive voter data to the federal government so that it can build a massive voter database which it will use to try and purge hundreds of thousands of voters from state rolls. While most, but not all, Republican states have complied, Democrats state officials have unanimously resisted. The Trump administration has sued the resisting states in an attempt to compel them to hand over the data.

The good news is that, so far, state election officials are undefeated in these lawsuits, winning all 16 that have been decided. The bad news is that the Trump administration is appealing all 16 of its losses, and continuing its lawsuits against 15 other states.

Victory for Democratic state officials in these lawsuits brought by Donald Trump's Department of Justice is literally the only thing standing in the way of the Trump administration acquiring sensitive data on every voter in every blue state and most swing states.

There is a way you can contribute directly to the legal defense fund for Democratic officials in the lawsuits the Trump administration has filed against them in an attempt to force them to turn over sensitive voter data. It's called the Democracy Legal Fund, and is operated by the Democratic Association of Secretaries of State (DASS), which is the national party committee that works to elect Democrats in secretary of state elections around the country.

I have created this ActBlue page so you can contribute to the Democracy Legal Fund operated by the Democratic Association of Secretaries of State. On this page, you can also contribute to Bowers Kerbel Media, which is the two-person pro-democracy organization that operates both the Bowers News Media news and activism email list and the Wolves and Sheep political analysis and practical life advice Substack. The amounts you donate to each entity can be adjusted.

Please, split a donation between the Democracy Legal Fund operated by the Democratic Association of Secretaries of State, and also to Bowers Kerbel Media. Donate directly to the legal support of Democratic secretaries of state who are fighting to keep sensitive voter data out of the Trump administration's hands.
