Donate to help Team Blue win two Supreme Court seats in Georgia on May 19

On May 19, in the crucial, southern swing state of Georgia, there are three elections being held for the Georgia Supreme Court. Two of those elections are contested, and in both cases a conservative incumbent appointed by former Republican Governor Nathan Deal is being challenged by liberal attorneys, Jen Jordan and Miracle Rankin respectively, on Team Blue.

The Georgia Supreme Court currently has an absurd 8-1 Republican advantage (technically the court is nonpartisan, but everyone knows who is on Team Red and Team Blue). Even if Rankin and Jordan are able to win on May 19, the court will still have a 6-3 advantage for conservatives. However, that would still be two steps in the direction of protecting personal reproductive freedom and ridding our democracy of the scourge of extreme gerrymandering.

I have put together this ActBlue page to make it easy for you to donate to Miracle Rankin and Jen Jordan for Georgia Supreme Court at the same time, and also to Bowers Kerbel Media.

To make sure I am being transparent with you, Bowers Kerbel Media is the two-person, pro-democracy and pro-Democratic media and activist organization that operates both the Bowers News Media news and email list, and the Wolves and Sheep political analysis and practical life advice Substack. The amounts you give to each entity can be adjusted by clicking "customize amounts." No donation to Bowers Kerbel Media is required in order to donate to either Miracle Rankin or Jen Jordan. You can read more about, and directly support, Miracle Rankin and Jen Jordan on their campaign websites.

Please, split a donation between Jen Jordan and Miracle Rankin for Georgia Supreme Court, and also Bowers Kerbel Media. Let's begin the hard work of taking back our courts, our freedom, and our democracy by flipping two seats in the highest court in a crucial southern swing state on May 19.
