Stand for Diversity and Inclusion – Support Our Black Women of Excellence for Congress Campaign!
As the Co-Founder of the Future - Today & Tomorrow Super PAC, I am writing to you with an urgent call to action. Recent court rulings have posed significant threats to diversity and inclusion initiatives, highlighting the critical need for strong, principled leadership in Congress. This is why we are launching our Black Women of Excellence for Congress campaign to support three extraordinary leaders in Michigan for Congress:
- Dr. Pamela Pugh, President of the Michigan State Board of Education (8th Congressional District)
- Tiffany Tilley, Co-Vice President of the Michigan State Board of Education (10th Congressional District)
- Mary Waters, Detroit City Councilwoman (13th Congressional District)
These dedicated public servants are committed to advancing diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) programs, and they need your support now more than ever.
The Threats We Face
- 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals halted venture capital grants by the Fearless Fund aimed at supporting African American women-owned small businesses.
- Nuziard, et al. v. Minority Business Development Agency – The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas ordered the MBDA to stop using race or ethnicity in determining access to programs aiding minority-owned businesses.
- Judge Matthew J. Kacsmaryk's Decision against Minority Farmers – Blocking a U.S.D.A disaster relief program from giving preferences to minority and female farmers, citing discrimination against White male farmers.
Court rulings such as underscore the importance of electing Democratic African American leaders who will champion legislation protecting DEIB initiatives. Opposing the MAGA Congressional Republicans' Dismantle DEI Act, which aims to end all diversity and race-conscious programs, is essential.

Your donation today will be split between these three great Black Women of Excellence Congressional Candidates and The Future - Today & Tomorrow Super PAC, which will help us finance our critical campaign activities for Dr. Pugh, Ms. Tilley, and Ms. Waters while providing direct support to their campaigns. Together, we can ensure they have the resources needed to fight for the values we all cherish
