Help Black Communities Build Political Power
BlockPower is a project of Register2Vote Fund, a non-partisan 501(c)3 nonprofit.
BlockPower’s mission is to help empower Black communities by increasing turnout among Black voters. BlockPower recruits residents of majority-Black neighborhoods to be “Voting Ambassadors,” who earn money by talking with their housemates, friends, and neighbors about the importance of voting in the next election.
BlockPower’s custom software platform automates the entire process — Ambassador onboarding, training, progress-tracking, payment-processing, and GOTV follow-up. BlockPower white-labels its platform to partner with grassroots organizations in cities with majority-Black communities.
Donations are used to pay more Voting Ambassadors.

Register2Vote Fund is a non-partisan civic engagement and technology nonprofit organization whose goal is identifying, reaching, and registering every unregistered voter in the United States. Since 2018, the Register2Vote team has helped over 500,000 voters get registered.
