Beto cannot win Texas without winning Fort Bend. Fort Bend will definitely be the next county to flip in Texas.
You can directly help Beto and all our statewide and countywide races. Winning means block walking in 90+ degree weather. I'm too damn old to do that and you probably are, too.
We are going to hire high school and college students to do this job and we are going to pay them $15 an hour. (If we say we favor increasing the minimum wage to $15 an hour, we will put our money where our mouth is.)
They will be trained and supervised. I will be one of the people sending maps to their cell phones, telling them which doors they knock on. They will be able to enter the data directly to their cell phones.
So, here's the deal. Send me $15 and get an hour to take a nap but you get to tell people you are slaving in the hot sun to flip Texas and elect Beto.
