My name is Sara Attleson, and I’m running to lead the Democratic Party of New Mexico because it’s time for working-class voices to guide our party. Growing up in a military family taught me resilience and the value of service, lessons I’ve carried through 47 years as an educator, union leader, and lifelong Democrat. From fighting for fair wages and healthcare to electing Democrats up and down the ballot, I’ve spent my life advocating for working families. As Chair, I’ll unify our party, honor its roots in the labor movement, and ensure it truly represents the people of New Mexico.
