Turning out Black voters will again be decisive this year. We are recommending three organizations that are doing this work.

Black Voters Matter

This is one of the top national groups working to turn out Black voters. It’s now engaged in GOTV work in a number of states, including Georgia, where it played an important role in securing Democratic wins in 2020 and early 2021. Biden won Georgia by just under 12,000 votes.

Black Male Voter Project

While Biden won 87% of Black male voters in 2020, he did 8 points worse with this group than Black women. Such small margins could make a huge difference in key battleground states, which is why we recommend giving to the Black Male Voter Project, a group working right now to turn out Black men for Democrats.

BLOC

Black voters are a small but incredibly important part of the Democratic base in Wisconsin, a state that Biden won by just 20,000 votes. Black Leaders Organizing for Communities is a key group doing GOTV work in Milwaukee and beyond.
