Help Flip Oregon's 5th Congressional District

Republican Lori Chavez-DeRemer is one of the most vulnerable members of the House. She won her seat in 2022 by just 2 points — in a district that Biden carried by 11 points in 2020. To flip OR-5 this fall, People’s House recommends that donors support two organizations:

Next Up is Oregon’s leading youth electoral organizing group. It has a strong presence in OR-5 and is working to engage young voters in the district through in-person contact, phone calls, and texting.

PCUN focuses on building the power of Oregon’s Latino farmers and working families. It is doing bilingual voter engagement work in OR-5 and also OR-6, another competitive district in the state.

For donations over $5,000, we recommend giving by check, ACH, or wire. For assistance, please contact advisor@bluetent.us.

This recommendation was developed by People’s House, which identifies and promotes effective electoral groups that are working to engage voters and elect Democrats in competitive congressional districts. It is a project of Blue Tent, an independent research site that helps Democratic and progressive donors give with maximum impact to win elections and advance change.
