Contribution rules
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
- I am at least eighteen years old.
- I am not a federal contractor.
- I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation and name of employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 in an election cycle.
Contributions to Blue to the Future 2024 will be allocated as follows:
The first 60% of each contribution will be allocated to DCCC and the remaining 40% will be allocated evenly between Jeffries for Congress, Caraveo for Congress, Mrvan for Congress, Hertel for Michigan, Don Davis for NC, Titus for Congress, Susie Lee for Congress, Nevadans for Steven Horsford, Emilia Sykes for Congress, Susan Wild for Congress, Marie for Congress, Adam Gray for Congress, Rudy Salas for Congress, George Whitesides for Congress, Will Rollins for Congress, Missy for Congress, Janelle Bynum for Congress, Baccam for Iowa, Derek Tran for Congress, and Altman for Congress (each a “Candidate Committee”), the ActBlue AZ-01 2024 Democratic Nominee Fund (the “Nominee Fund”), and Jobs, Education, & Families First JEFF PAC (“JEFF PAC”). Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, any contributions of $5,000 or less will be allocated to DCCC.
The first $41,300/$15,000 of a person/multicandidate committee’s (“PAC’s”) contribution to DCCC will be allocated to DCCC’s general fund. Any additional amounts to DCCC will be allocated to DCCC’s recount or building fund, in DCCC’s sole discretion and up to the legal limits. The first $3,300/$5,000 of a person/PAC’s contribution to each Candidate Committee will be allocated for use in the candidate’s primary election; the next $3,300/$5,000 of a person/PAC’s contribution to each Candidate Committee will be allocated for use in the candidate’s general election; however, if a candidate’s primary election has already occurred, the first $3,300/$5,000 of a person/PAC’s contribution to each Candidate Committee will be allocated for use in the candidate’s general election. Any amounts remaining after allocating to the Candidate Committees, Nominee Fund, and JEFF PAC will be allocated to DCCC up to its remaining legal limits.
Funds allocated to the Nominee Fund will be transferred to ActBlue to hold the funds in escrow until a 2024 Democratic nominee in AZ-01 is nominated. If there is no 2024 Democratic nominee in AZ-01, any funds allocated to the Nominee Fund will be reallocated to ActBlue.
A contributor may designate his or her contribution for a particular participant. The allocation formula above may change if following it would result in an excessive contribution.
