Contribution rules
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
- I am at least eighteen years old.
- I am not a federal contractor.
- I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
Contributions or gifts to DSCC are not tax deductible. Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation and name of employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 in a calendar year.

Individuals can contribute as much as $44,300 ($88,600 per couple) per calendar year to DCCC's general fund for use at DCCC's sole discretion. A multicandidate PAC can contribute as much as $15,000 per calendar year to DCCC’s general fund for use at DCCC’s sole discretion. All amounts in excess of this by individuals or PACs, up to the legal limits, will be for DCCC's headquarters account or recount and other legal proceedings account.
Contributions or gifts to the Democratic Governors Association are not tax deductible. Please include your employer's address and, for individual contributors, your occupation and employer. Federal law imposes taxes and penalties on political organizations for failing to disclose this information to the IRS. Contributions will be used at the DGA's sole discretion to support its programs and activities. The DGA may use all or part of a contributor’s funds, and disclose them as necessary, in states of its choosing. The DGA files public disclosure reports with the IRS and states in accordance with state election laws.
By donating to any DGA entity, you agree that your contribution may be used for campaign media spending and your name, mailing address, occupation, and employer may be reported to the Arizona Secretary of State. To opt out of having your donation so used, contact us at AZOptOuts@demgovs.org within 21 days of making this donation. A receipt confirming your decision to opt-out is available upon request.

Contributions will be used at DASS’s sole discretion to support its programs and activities. DASS may use all or part of a contributor’s funds, and disclose them as necessary, in states of its choosing. You may contribute up to $5,000 per calendar year to DASS PAC, a federal PAC. You may contribute an unlimited amount to DASS’s nonfederal account. By donating here, you agree that the first $5,000 of your contribution will be deposited in DASS and anything in excess of that amount will be transferred to DASS’s non-federal account. You may also designate a different allocation formula by contacting dass@capcompliance.com. You also agree that this allocation formula may change if following it would result in an excessive contribution to the federal PAC. You may request a refund of the amount transferred to the nonfederal account in lieu of the transfer.
