What does the Blue Horizon Fund do?

The mission of the Washington County Democrats is to elect Democrats throughout Washington County, Oregon. Established in 2005, the Blue Horizon Fund has become integral to keeping the WashCo Dems’ Office open at 140 3rd Avenue, in Hillsboro. This location was initially chosen to help us turn parts of the Hillsboro/Forest Grove/rural areas Blue; and we are still working hard to do that, but we need your help.

The Washington County Democrats need an Office that is open during the week and on Saturdays for many good reasons…during Election Season, the Office is a dependable location for mobilizing canvassing efforts, data collection and dissemination, phone banking, and campaign planning for local candidates. The Office fields many phone calls from Washington County residents regarding local elections and issues; and we plan Central Committee meetings and fundraising events as well as maintain a visible presence not only in the Hillsboro area but Beaverton, Tigard, and the rest of East County through our Outreach Program. Many of our Committee meetings are held at the Office, and much of the success of the Washington County Democrats is due to your sustaining support of the Office.
