Political campaigns are exciting because they’re urgent, and the impact is quick to see, but we also need a more strategic investment in building up the working-class electorate. The 2024 election reflects what happens when we ignore the bread-and-butter issues working families care about.
Bluejay Rising is a West Virginia community organization born out of Zach Shrewsbury's community-service-centric senatorial campaign. West Virginians are resilient, resourceful, and caring people who deserve to lead and decide the future of their own communities.
