Jeanne Shaheen for Senator

Jeanne Shaheen is the queen of New Hampshire and a huge part of why the state has flipped from red to blue. She is both the first female governor and the first female senator in the state’s history. She was a finalist to be Al Gore’s VP nominee in 2000. In 2002, she ran for Senate and lost, but then won the rematch six years later, becoming the first Democrat to win a New Hampshire senate seat in 30 years, and weathered the 2014 storm to protect the seat from a carpetbagging Scott Brown.

As both governor and senator, Jeanne has achieved major progress on a wide variety of issues, from abortion to clean energy to the opioid epidimic. She has written and passed nearly 50 bills through the Senate.
