During Mitch McConnell's six-year reign, the Senate has been transformed into the Republican Party’s machine for cheating their way into power. Rules don’t matter. Precedent doesn’t matter. All that matters is rubber-stamping Trump’s agenda. When Trump was impeached, McConnell refused to even call witnesses.


When Obama was president, McConnell said that the Senate’s #1 job was defeating him politically. He blocked every piece of legislation and every judicial nominee, even violating the Constitution by refusing to hold hearings on Merrick Garland. If Biden becomes president, you can bet he’ll get the exact same treatment. No bills passed, no judges confirmed, and if there’s a Supreme Court vacancy, McConnell will hold it open for a Republican president.
