In partnership with Mutual Aid Phoenix and Black Lives Matter Phoenix Metro, UUJAZ has been supporting Black Mesa Resistance Camp with supply drives since 2020. Our commitment is to 40+ indigenous families who are resisting fossil fuel extraction and forced relocation on their ancestral land.
Donate to our Grassroots Giving Fundraiser during April and May to "share the plate" with Black Mesa Resistance Camp and support their Spring Supply Run.
UUJAZ's mission is to engage Arizona Unitarian Universalists in justice making through:
- nurturing congregational social justice ministries;
- connecting UU activists and congregations across the state;
- partnering with like-minded justice organizations;
- empowering UUs to work for socially just public policy.
Donations made through this link during April and May will be split 50/50 between UUJAZ and Black Mesa Resistance Camp.
