Donate to help Democrats win the U.S. House of Representatives

Check out these two pieces of good news in the race for the U.S. House of Representatives, where Democrats need to pick up four Republican-held seats in order to win a majority in the 2024 elections:


  1. Democrats have now taken a 2.8% lead in the generic congressional ballot, which is a measurement of the national popular vote for U.S. House. This continues a consistent Democratic surge since late July, and is now the largest Democratic lead in three years.
  2. The Cook Political Report has shifted their race ratings in eight key congressional districts. While two of those shifts favored Republicans, six favored Democrats.


With this in mind, I am going to expand the list of Republican-held districts we are targeting for Democratic pickups here at Bowers News Media. So far, we have been targeting the six districts listed as toss-ups by the Cook Political Report that President Biden where received 53% of the vote in or more in 2020. Now, let's target the other seven districts list as toss-ups, too. The candidates in these districts are:


  1. AZ-01: Amish Shah
  2. AZ-06: Kirsten Engel
  3. CA-41: Will Rollins
  4. CA-45: Derek Tran
  5. NE-20: Tony Vargas
  6. NJ-07: Sue Altman
  7. NY-19: Josh Riley
