Happy birthday, Peggy.

Best friends for over 40 years, we've served together in six different countries and raised three wonderful children. I couldn't run for Congress without my wife, Peggy.

She could've retired, and instead, since 2021, choose to join me full-time on the campaign trail. Peggy sacrifices a lot for Michigan's 1st District. Spouses of candidates are true unsung heroes, working just as hard.

Peggy as one of the most kind and caring people you'll ever meet. She is a loyal and dedicated friend to so many people. Her primary mission in life is looking after her family and her friends.

Peggy is the true rock of our family.

She is a true Yooper. Even while we shovel knee-deep snow, she says "Isn't this beautiful? We are so blessed."

When she's not taking care of others, she is my number one volunteer.

Peggy coordinates every event. She's our driver, photographer, security, and more. She travels with me to nearly every campaign appearance, collects signatures for our nominating petition, helps me organize thank you letters and post-cards.

My wife is my most trusted advisor and I couldn't do this without her.

Let's support her with a day off.

She deserves it.
