Bo French, the Republican nominee for Texas Railroad Commission, is a terrible human being. Last year, French posted a poll on X asking "Who is a bigger threat to America?" with two options" "Jews" or "Muslims." He's running for Railroad Commission on a platform of stopping "Sharia law." And he recently targeted UT students with a disgusting racial diatribe. He shouldn't hold public office—much less an important statewide office that matters a great deal. His Democratic opponent, State Rep. Jon Rosenthal, is a decent person who is well-qualified for the office. With so much energy in flipping Texas blue this cycle, it would be deeply impactful to flip *multiple* offices—like this one.
