Sunrise New England is headed to Washington, D.C. this December 9th - 10th, just 3 days before this session of Congress ends. We will join hundreds of young people from across the country to demand that Democratic leaders support Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s proposal for a Select Committee for a Green New Deal!
We have 12 years to take unprecedented action to protect human civilization as we know it, and the Green New Deal is the only plan on the table that actually addresses the Climate Crisis at the scale and scope we need, while lifting up our economy in the process.
More and more young people in New England are signing up to every day to fight for our common future and dignity in D.C.
